FiltersThere's three filters included with the  Astromaster Accessory Kit. The  80A is a medium-blue filter, used to enhance the contrast of things like the cloud belts on Jupiter and the polar ice caps on Saturn. The 25 filter is a deep red filter, a great choice for defining the polar ice caps on Mars. This filter blocks quite a lot of the light that comes through your telescope, so you get the best results from bright objects. The Moon filter is usually one of the first additions to an amateur astronomers' kit. That's because it helps block out some of the light from the Moon, so you can pick out more details as you observe it. You can try it out on Venus too, because it will help you see the planet's phases. Case and cleaning clothThe micro-fibre cleaning cloth will help to keep eyepieces clean without leaving any residue.  When everything is spotless, pack it all away into the black hard-plastic carry case.
